Here are some easy tips to follow:

- Take your retainer out when you’re eating or chewing gum.
- Rinse your retainer with warm water, but never use hot water.
- Every week, soak your retainer overnight in a retainer cleaner or denture tablet and water.
- Always keep your retainer in its case when you’re not wearing it.
